PhD student in Astronomy
I am a PhD student in the Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas of Universidade de São Paulo, currently doing a 7-month internship at the European Southern Observatory, in Garching. I am a member of the S-PLUS Collaboration since 2020, and have been working on the estimation of photometric redshifts for the survey's quasar candidates since 2024, using machine learning techniques. In my current work, I employ anomaly detection to find unusual and interesting Active Galactic Nuclei based on their colors and variability information.
